SaddleBox donates a percentage of its profits to horse rescue organizations at the end of each year, but we’re also proud to support other worthy causes that couple horses with charitable giving.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve donated a three-month SaddleBox subscription to Spurs for a Cure, a charitable equine organization that raises money for Pink Ribbon Girls. Spurs for a Cure will be auctioning off the SaddleBox subscription (a $180 value) at their next event.

We hope you’ll consider supporting Spurs for a Cure! Here’s some more information about the organization from one of their founders, Jennifer Questa:

Spurs For A Cure is an annual horse trail ride at Caesar Creek State Park in Waynesville, Ohio and we’re proudly supporting Pink Ribbon Girls for 2017. We’ve also had the pleasure of partnering with Turning Up The Heat On Cancer with The Pink Medic this year which has opened our audience tremendously. I invite you to visit both causes and see what they’re all about!

This trail ride is a rain or shine event! Cancer doesn’t stop for the weather so we don’t either! We have an extremely committed Girl Scout troop that provides breakfast, (donation based) one of our close friends, who is a survivor, caters lunch in (also donation based) and we have an amazing silent auction with items from across the US. We also provide a warm camp fire (bring your own camp chairs) and have coffee and hot chocolate available as well!

We look forward to seeing many familiar faces and we welcome all new riders with arms wide open. Because of YOU we can keep on with our mission! Search us on Facebook or visit us at www.spursforacure.org.
