This is Krista with SaddleBox and for today’s video, I’m going to show you my favorite way of tying a horse to a trailer where you can just pull like this and they’re automatically free.

Okay, so I really like this knot because obviously you can get your horse free ASAP, so if something happens you can really just pull and the lead rope doesn’t stay stuck in here, it’s already out.

How to Tie Your Horse to a Trailer

First, I fold it in half, put it around wherever I’m going to tie my horse, cross it over, cross it over again, make a daisy chain, stick the end part through there, and you’ll want to stick the end part through there so she can’t pull it off or anything. And then when you want to untie, you just pull it out.
