Hey y’all, it’s Krista with SaddleBox and for today’s video I’m going to give you a tip for helping your saddle not fall off while you’re driving your trailer.

So if you’re ever hauling to your location and you arrive and you find all of your saddles on the floor, it might be because – well, you may be a crazy driver, but you also may have put your saddle on the saddle rack facing the wrong direction. So one thing that I do is I put them on, especially for Western saddles, facing this way, because it bares most of the weight and then they’re a lot less likely to fall off.

Keep Your Saddle Secure While Driving Your Trailer

This also works for English saddles too, but definitely for Western saddles, so I’m going to show how I do that. So instead of putting them on like you normally would like this, put them on backwards, like this. And then because the weight is all upfront, when you do stops or maybe have to put the brakes on or turn, it’s a lot less likely to fall off.

Alright y’all, that’s it for this one, I hope you enjoyed it and I’ll see you in the next video. Bye guys!
